Bombardier: The worst addition.
The size of a kickball, too quiet to hear over a horde, and can easily one-shot a rooted guardian with zero real chance of retaliation or escape. Personally, the only deaths I have really gotten other than entities teleporting into the walls or floors has been these being unable to be seen and exploding, sending me flying halfway across the map in some cases.

Think I'll wait a bit to see if things improve, but this bug alone took all the teleporting bug issues from 'frustrating' to 'unplayable' for me.

There is an issue with it that some people can't even see them at all. The only real warning is the electric discharge effect you see.

Honestly, feels almost like they just hate Guardians lately with this bug alone. xD

Mean I think the fact that an Engineer can deploy an HMG with ammo box right next to a Guardian with an LMG is proof of that.
Bad addition for sure

Bomber bugs by far cause the most losses.
Always tag them and make sure you have some dudes playing mobile classes like sniper/ranger so they can leave the base to take them out.

Wrong bugs. The bombardiers are the little tiny roly-poly/pillbug/doodlebug looking enemies that jump into your firing lines and explode.

They're fun to pick off in mid air if you can see them, but apparently their models aren't showing for some people.

They do have a distinctive sound & people just need to adjust, plus I'm sure there'll be tweaking of it as time passes. If they're literally not visible to some people that's obviously a big problem though.

when u shoot them they shouldnt explode. kinda defeats the point of even bothering with them

Guardian's main purpose is as tank & pulling aggro with pheromones as far as I've experienced with the update. I've pulled bugs off teammates from 10's of metres away, massively increasing the survivability of the team and giving everyone a small area to focus fire on. Obviously it's not gonna be as powerful as the HMG turret but I've played enough rounds now to see that often that turret as well as Guardian's LMG are necessary.

Demolishers are your heavy firepower dudes.

Guardian by far feels like the most complete class right now. And I'm with you, I'll find a nice choke point and hunker down to guard a flank. I had a game where one of our more mobile guys left the base to try to take down a fire bug. I sat high up and basically suppressed everything around him so he could get there, get it taken care of, and get back. They're about protection and suppression, not "let's see how many we can mow down" which, to be fair, they're also good at.

I'm having issues with demolishers and snipers, right now, but I'm mostly playing on easy until I get those classes leveled a little. I feel like they'll get stronger at higher difficulties, while the guardian will get comparatively weaker at higher difficulties (because they're overtuned for easy).

For the Demolisher in the right situation that grenade barrage rocks. I thought I wasn't gonna like it because I was never a fan of an explosive weapon replacing my rifle so thought it wasn't my playstyle, but that barrage, plus whatever grenade you got equipped are pretty effective. The countdown isn't awful either.

They do have a distinctive sound, unless there's a bug and people aren't hearing it?

Audio doesn't always play and when it does gets muffled heavily by other sounds.
Which actually thinking about audio I noticed that music will essentially cut out after a certain point and not play.

Not gonna lie, I enjoy those lil goobers. I hear the Screeeeee and I can't help but chuckle. That being said, I have never encountered the audio not playing unless I'm talking over it or not paying attention. Will admit it is very low sound quality so sometimes can't hear it over the roar of a bunch of warriors.

I do think it could do with some tweaks, cause sometimes in the chaos there is just no way to avoid them. A way to neutralise them without exploding them would be great. Not sure if any way exists currently? Seem to just frag my team mates when I shoot them XD
