Report a translation problem
probably due to the experience of the players
I guess everyone experiences it differently.
For me it is also easy even on Hard, with the exception of some savage mutator of pure tigers or grenadiers.
and sometimes that's not that difficult either, I suppose it's also because the more difficult it is, the more experienced people,
and that makes it easier when there are qualified people.
You get 3-4 more players but lose 3-4 players from traitors.
I think they should remove being a traitor system if it's in proximity to the ship 100m.
Just remove friendly fire inside that proximity to prevent grieifing.
It also might not be a real problem if the player base gets bigger so games start with full groups.
I wouldn't mind sitting in a lobby for 10minutes to get a full groups before the mission starts instead of the current system
It is not the best solution but it is something:
It is assumed that "possibly" in some future the empty spaces will be filled with bots, they will surely not be as useful as the players, but at least they will tip the balance somewhat.
Currently with 6 of those recruits well positioned the base defends itself.
Sometimes you don't even need to help them, their "missions" are completed by themselves xD
If you're a medic, don't focus on killing, focus on keeping your team alive and healthy.
If your a guardian, focus on taking agro and being the physical line where the bugs stop.
Engineers build machine guns, fortify the base and do quick repairs.
Rangers are reconnaissance and should be on the front because they can move fast.
Snipers take out lethal threats from a distance such as fire bugs, bombers and gunners.
And demolition should be behind the line killing grouped up bugs en masse.
If you don't do your job and just try and kill as many bugs as possible, your team will suffer, you'll die alot and eventually lose.
The Grenadinears keep finding me and killing me every single time I play. One Grenadinear even killed me through a rock. It must of spawn in a there.
I think most aliens are targeting engineers more than other classes.
Alot of the time, I don't even get a chance to reload my own weapon and alien pops up in front of me.
I've noticed that my other classes don't get targeted as much as my engineer.
But your right Dudes,
It's true some times traitors make it difficult and I think they should mark the traitors and kick them off. Also what class you play should be considered too.
Also most of the time I play, is when alot have gone to bed and only 3 - 4 players are on the map.
So maybe they should scale the amount of aliens that spawn when there are not many players.
Thanks Dudes for the info.
And you will learn the game fast.
I only play Hard mode + 3 mutators, and I still get sleepy.
You're right that grenadiers can be a huge pain. Listen to their telltale WEEEEE sound they make when they're incoming and be on the bounce. As soon as you hear them, move. Never stay in one spot, which can be understandingly hard as an engineer when you're trying to build. The games AI does a really good job at making life difficult. It's up to us as troopers to adapt, improvise and overcome.
That being said, you're right that they need to scale the bugs better for the amount of players in the server. Don't spawn 3 dozen tigers when they're only 6 players for example. All in due time, we're still in EA.
and I thought that when a traitor is identified, it orders all troopers to eliminate them and then they get auto kicked? I've killed a handful of traitors already and noticed they get kicked from the server immediately.
It really depends with which ppl. you play, if the server is laggy and which mutators are currently active.
Even without a base and a good team, you don´t need to build something to defend the ARC.
