Could you post the spec of your PC please.
EarlSkrubb Jun 5, 2024 @ 10:02pm
16GB RAM
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

Also, the game ran better for me on release, while having more bugs on screen and with better visuals, so....

your pc is outdated though, try lowering settings and using frame generation
like I said, it ran better on release than it does today and it's stupid that THIS game runs like that while looking like that.

also, not really, my pc is in the recommended specs and I'm in 1080P with medium settings. And it's weird that the game runs so badly when I can run better looking games with better settings with better performances. Sounds like they badly optimised the game, so they raised the recommended specs (which I already meet)

Does "better looking games" have hundreds of bugs on screen at the same time? Cause I'm CPU bound on my 12900K, and a 3600X is ancient. It has nothing to do with the graphics. I'm happy though, great game.

Check out the early optimisation patch notes for our upcoming 0.8.0 game patch pinned in General discussions. We have whole team working on performance. We appreciate the feedback and support

I mean, if you look at the recommended specs, the recommended cpu is the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and I got the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X which is a smidge better, so I shouldn't be struggling that much in terms of CPU. And I mean... I've played Mount and Blade Bannerlord with high settings and 500 v 500 battles runs better than this game does

and looking at the gpu recommendation, it says that my amd RX 5700 XT outperforms the recommended GPUs, so technically my pc is more powerfull than the recommended set up.

In the past with CD gaming the rec. specs where most of the time true.

Today it´s just a lottery. Even from the big companies. :ReallySkeptical:

yeah it's just some people here saying my specs are outdated (they're max 5 years old, so not that much) and my specs are also higher than the recommended ones, so it's just false in the context of this game, cause these are the advertised specs.

I play games with more enemies which run at double the frame rate, it's just bad optimization, and yes cpu limited.
Like, I'm sorry, but when I zoom in, in total war warhammer 3, it looks, not as good, but almost and it has like 2k enemies in the field all getting thrown around and ♥♥♥♥ or Mount and Blade Bannerlord in either 3rd or first person with 1000s of enemies on the field and all

idk, I feel like it's an optimisation issue just based on how my pc runs other games as well. Helldivers 2 for example can get very very chaotic and even though there's bugs its not chuggy or dropping frames like this game does. STE has also ran waayyyyy better in the past when it just went on early access, it was smooth like butter. Now it's like ARMA 3 levels bad.
Lynn Jun 8, 2024 @ 5:10am
wait it got even worse? last update already took so much performance away, I can't imagine it being even worse.

lmao how is that pc outdated? its still better than a entry level pc, and on a entry level pc, like a i3 14100F and 4060 you should expect atleast 5 years of having a really good time. How ever with its current price tag I would say a 4060 is more of a mid range car, but it is still slower than a 5700XT so, that doesnt really matter for what I am trying to say.

It seems like you just don't know much about computers if you think that is outdated.
