New class discussion
More or less just wanted to hear what people think the new classes will be or ideas that they might have about them.

Anyways here's how I think it will end up:

1. Hunter will be split into two different classes, a "ranger" class that is solely focused on long range sniping and similar to how most people play hunter now, the ranger will retain the jetpack and the XXX. Another class will be split off from hunter, focusing on sustained fire and mobility, they'll have some precision weapons (both will probably keep the hawkeye) but focus more on being a ground soldier with better weapons suited to that, maybe even having some special sidearms like an SMG to help with self defense.

2. Bastion will be split into a focused engineer class that retains all the build perks (perhaps having those by default as their passive) and built utilities like the walls, turrets and overchargers (Maybe even shift the guardian UAV from operator to this class). The other class will be more focused on heavy weapons, they'll keep the SAW, and things like mines, det packs and nukes.

3. Operator will be split into a dedicated medic class who will retain the healing drone, syringes(maybe have these as a default utility) and medical stations, most of the more offensive equipment like the nukes (why does operator even have these to begin with?) will be gone to make people focus on team healing. The last class could go one of two ways, either the remnants of operator could be pushed onto other classes (GL goes to heavy weapons, extra can slot goes to engi, etc) and a new class could be made (personally I hope it's some form of psy-ops class) or another split of operator with a focus on more general support, restocking ammo, placing beacons and wearing down bugs with gas grenades and the GL.

I feel like part of the current issue is that a lot of the classes have a bit of an identity crisis, Bastion has all the heavy weapons stuff and combat perks like E-mags and better melee defence, but the also has all the build perks and build utilities, so in a case where you can get an almost completely different style of play on the same class, there's really no reason why it shouldn't be split to prevent the classes from becoming to bloated and to be able to focus on things that help the individual playstyle of each class.

Furthermore, I feel like even if they added new classes they would need to take elements from the already existing classes anyways, there's room for a ground assault class due to hunter having been shifted to more of a class cannon sniper over time, and while operator is an alright medic class, apart from the drone ability nothing is forcing you to heal your team which is a bit of a problem so a more healing focused class would be good not only for those who play it but for teams that have a lack operators focused on healing.

What about a tactical command of sorts? someone who can call in support (light weapons and armor and should stay with a team for best results) - Dropship support possibly? (i.e. Dropship dropsoff a bunker for the team and potentially then helps holdout a position with light aerial fire. - Airstrike support? quick deployment air strikes or artillery if air support unavailable.
- armoured suit support etc. etc.
Maybe these command roles could also be varied amongst the classes instead of having a specific Comms support.

Depending on mission. AAS or ARC as examples could have a side OP to secure a signal booster that would also supply support via heavy weapons drop at the base or the above examples played out.

Nevermind a new class...
Devs should focus on weapons.
Should be able to carry a shotgun as a secondary. A grenade launcher. A sub-machine gun.
