It's a roll of the dice how your system will run it. 4070s report bad performance and 1060s say good frames. Just buy, try and refund if it's bad on your system.

As someone with a 1060 6GB - the frames are abysmal once the base defense starts lol

I am running everything maxed on my main rig (Specs below) with average fps of 140fps or so at 1440p. I have noted no performance issues of any kind even running with a fov of 90.

As for the minimum requirements, my gf is getting 30fps for 1% lows and 55fps for average fps with almost everything on high at 1080p (Specs below). The only thing i tuned down was shadows which are set to 'low'. Fov is set to 90 so she could lower this further for better performance. CPU and GPU average around 95% usage - so no bottleneck

16GB DDR4 2400MHz

I would imagine min specs to be well below the Gtx970 tbh and the game isn't using 4GB VRAM on mostly high settings. As for CPUs... any recent cpu with 4cores or more will slay this game

As per my above post i believe that the real world min specs are lower than what the developer has specified on the store page. Depends on your definition of playable.

Sorry but after 8 years on Steam they should have known where to look for the system specs.

They should have also posted their specs so we could have made more informed decisions on how to answer them. Just saying less than the current i core and AMD gen is meaningless, they could have a P3 450 for all we know.

I'm running a Ryzen 7 2700X. 8 cores.

It's not exactly the fastest CPU out there, but it should be more than enough.

And yet, the framerate drops below 10 during the extraction, and often dips in the low 20s during the base defense.

Only time I get a stable 60+ is at the beginning of a match...

If you think these specs are accurate you must be new to pc gaming. These specs are never accuarate.

I never said they were accurate but what they are is a guideline. I wouldn't go much lower than the minimum requirements in any game but that's just me and my PC's are never on the lower end of requirements and they've been this way for well over 25 years of PC gaming online.

I've been on Steam since day one and even beta tested it for 8 months prior to its release. So, I'm going to say no to me being new to PC gaming, in fact I've been gaming since '76 when we played Pong on a grandstand console.

Well, while we're on the topic of system specs on the store page - the 1060 is right bewteen the minimum and recommended specs.

So at the very least I should be able to expect a playable framerate. But I apparently can't even have that.
