Road Map \ Phase 4 Marauder supp

I looked at the Road Map and my eye was hooked on Phase 4 because I saw a mention of the Marauder there.
I hope the Marauders are done like in Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles. That would be cool, I think they are the most balanced there

What do you think?

This is based on the movie , so it is either the old Marauder mech or the new one in the 3D movie .

New from 3d movie is good to, but i more like old type of marauders from Chronicles, stylistically they look very good

Hopefully we get both from the Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles. and from the 3d movie as long as it's not the 3rd movie we are golden!

The game take place 25 years after the meteor hit the earth so i assume we are currently in the 2nd bug war , unfortunately it is not explain when the 3rd movie and the 3D take place so it is kinda hard to pin point what Marauder model they gonna use but i think high chance they gonna use the MK1 model for simplicity ...

TBH I kinda hope they have a scenario where its just Planet P. No building, no heavy armor just hold out on Wiskey outpost for as long as you can... but not as the roughnecks but the group that didn't survive.

I can answer this. The third film is set 11 years after the start of the first war, the second cg film (Traitor of Mars) is set 20 years after. I don't recall seeing it stated that this game is set 25 years after but if so then we're way after the introduction of the tech introduced in the cg films Invasion and Traitor of Mars.

During the Fed Net loading screen , if you pay attention you can see one line saying something about 25th anniversary of that meteor incident which kick off the first bug war .

The one from the movie just looks like a cleaner more adv version. It doesn't look or feel anime at all outside of artstyle, which even then. The humans look anime the armor does not.
(I also just now saw the 3d one is a power suit not a Marauder suit)

It is designated as vehicle and is compatible with trooper wearing powered suit which is now widely use during second bug war .

The first version is the M11 Babar , is bulkier .

Both are designated as a vehicle and In my post. I pointed out I mixed up the powered armor with the suit as the In universe lore for whats a marauder suit and what isn't is very hazy at times.

Also bulkier is not always better, especially with these map sizes. Theres a reason why smaller and faster things can be more dangerous.

And tbh the MK-II suit looks like the one from terran accendency.

as we can repair walls, maybe the same as we repair "Marauder" big robots so yeah can work as long the bugs far away and not dmging it lol
maybe will have smash and crash them with legs, need more Orbital feel support good concept

I want a Marauder like from the game, Starship Troopers: Marauder. Not the giant damn mech in the travesty that was Starship Troopers 3.
