This is exactly how I feel about it, and said similar in another post by someone whinging about their sex.
I feel like random assignment thrown at the bug menace is more true to the essence of Starship Troopers.

an option would be good u don't need cosmetics but voice option is good. and there is no reason not to add it. NS2 had that option male or female marine then random decals. but u don't need decals or cosmetics. its just a logical addition.
