White and yellow hitmarkers?

White markers mean you are hitting the target, what do yellow ones mean?

I'd also like a different hitmarker when I am hitting a weak point please :)

Nope, this is something different than the 'big bloom' marker from a dead bug. This is the same size as the standard one just a different color.

I assume white means you're hitting its armour whereas yellow is hitting it in the weak point. The fleshy bit where all of its legs meet. Red/Orange meaning killed.

I assumed it was a weakspot as the same happens when shooting the plasma launcher part of the grenadiers

Yeah except it clearly isn't working as sometimes you get all white hits and sometimes all yellow hits

i only see yellow marker when i hit a tiger

i have only seen it with the emancipator pistol so I assumed it meant the hit caused a stun

Hmmmm... that might be it because I have noticed it with other stun-heavy weapons
