Grens die super quick as it is though to any kind of fire, that's what I'm talking about. Every situation where the nuke would be good, everything else handles it better and faster.
If they only balance it to account for trolling it will stay an underwhelming piece of edge-case equipment that barely sees any use due to everything doing the job better and more efficiently than it. Regular demo charges do the same job but better and you get 4 of those with a remote detonator.
1. Have a remote detonator
2. Be like a huge grenade
The 30s timer thing is useless
if/when there is an update hopefully placeables can be dropped while moving/jetpack to make them more useful
100% agree on this. The 30 second timer is completely unpractical in this game. Most engagement against a large amount of enemies last less than 30 seconds besides the protect the base part of the game.
Seems a suboptimal strat since a Hi-Ex grenade or remote detonator bomb would do the same thing but also be usable in other circumstances. Not to mention you don't have to crawl under a giant Bug to use them.
