What is the Key-Bind "FOCUS" used for `?

Tryd many things.... nothing happens...... The description says:
"button to focus your aim while in ads"....

4 me something like make the zoom of the sniper rifle greater.... or hold breath..... ?

I find it does not do anything noticeable. Maybe its for a future update, similar to how mutator controls are present but not used.

It steadies your sight when using a magnification scope.

It makes your character hold their breathe to steady their aim. Only useful for Morita XXX rifle.

Edit: it has it's own keybind now because originally it was bound to Shift, so when you try to steady your aim while crouching, the game thought you were trying to sprint and it made you stand up.
