Yep agreed. Wrote a post detailing several issues, went overlooked by devs. Game is ridiculously easy now. Haven't had the massive amount of gunners mutator yet but I doubt even that is going to be a challenge based on what I've seen.

Yes. Any kind of bug "nerf" should be reverted. The interesting thing about veteran mode was 1 or 2 warrior swipes would down you. Now you can stand in it and be fine. It made you play with teammates, instead now you can go solo into objectives. So please revert this.

As far as I'm aware there's only been one nerf to bugs, and that was the Gunner which desperately needed it. If anything there appears to be a massive 2x HP multiplier from Normal to Hard up from the previous 1.5x multiplier, and before it's stated, no there weren't any Resiliency Mutators present.

Overall though the Mutators seems to be extremely hit or miss. Low Gravity and Drone Ambush makes games far easier, the latter because it seems to conflict with a bug spawn limit, while Bug Rush is not only janky as ♥♥♥♥ but terrifying to boot as all bugs practically teleport next to you with the 2-3x move speed multiplier.

ARC veteran on previous patch was near perfect, everyone needs to do their own part in order to win, now you can win with 8 people AFK at base waiting for the siege to start.

it's like a joke about Gunner. player want dev to reduce gunner damage so, player can have some chance to take cover or shoot back which Dev really did reduce it. But Dev also nerf gun damage so, gunner also take more hit to kill and even add mutator that spawn pack of gunner when normal gunner spawn 2-6 or even more before.

Hell no. Gunner bug nerf was 100% warranted as it was the most broken bug in the game with next to no counter-play in most situations where you did not get the jump on it as it was spawning.

The issue is they went WAY too far with the nerf on it. All they had to do, for veteran only, was nerf damage by about 50%, keep the pinpoint accuracy, and let them be staggered instead of them shooting through staggers. It was that or keep the insane damage and insane rate of fire but nerf accuracy. Instead it seems they seemed to have nerfed both accuracy and damage so instead of being deleted in 1 second because you ran in front of it or used your jetpack you take some chip damage and just casually walk away.

It's better than before where gunners killed players in 1 second before they can even pinpoint where they were being attacked from but they nerfed the hawkeye so now it's annoying because the gunner bug poses no threat AND takes longer to kill.

This is the reason you mix classes and weapons. I use hawkeye all the time and I prioritize gunner bugs all the time, and it's fun, because I know if I don't kill them then troopers die. Okay, maybe they didn't nerf bug damage, they buffed HP? At any rate, the game is too easy on "logical" modifiers, okay spawning 50 gunners bugs, probably a stupid idea. I hope they are reading this. What the hell guys.

Maybe i understand now what people mean with "it´s easy".....

...hard mode + grenadier ambush -> nuked down the base in few secs. :nuked:

Part of the fun was getting overwhelmed from time to time. You could hardly leave the base alone without getting destroyed pretty quickly, so it forced players to much more teamwork.

Occasionally, you could try to make it out to an extractor alone and if you got away with it, it felt like you either got really lucky or had achieved something. Now, you can just basically trot around, so the balance is off.

Also, the bombardments are missing. There doesn't really seem to be a threat to the base unless it's completely abandoned.

We played like four games in a row last night and while it was on level 5 infestation there was nothing going on, so everyone was wondering wtf happened to the bugs. It feels like a totally different game.

Also, the 2 minute cooldown time for the ore extractors forced the team to regroup and move to another location. It makes you traverse the map and adds an element of chaos and disorganisation, which is more interesting. If there's no cooldown, there's no point in even having two ore extractors.

Seems as if some of the mutations break the endless horde/ arc defense. For example if you get the drone ambush it likes to cause 90% or more of what should spawn to be drones, and they endlessly spawn every few seconds. Then during the defense you end up fighting all drones with 3 or so spawns of 10 warriors during the entire defense, if it even spawns anything other then drones.

I agree. If anything they need to make the game even harder than before with the addition of HMGs and a lot of people running maxed out kits.

Im trying so much to enjoy this game after the update but its a real struggle when you never leave level 1 on Arc in hardmode anymore and the spawns have been reduced so much. Specially with the negative mutator affects overpowering the buffs making the bugs 100x easier.. I dont think ill be playing this much at all now until the next update.
