Bastion scan beacon where did it go?
Why is my scan becon just gone? there were nothing in he notes that said they would remove my baby...

no scan beacon, weaker damage per shot. shout out to all dudes who were bashing bastion's damage output. now bastions might live up to those claims about lackluster damage.

The update on the Saw is enough to increase the damage output by far more considering Ill now have 300 bullets before reloading, even if the overall damage per bullet is less my output will be higher.

i know how you feel...i'm upset they removed the build perk from the operator....i was running that so i could repair the base faster during the invasion phase....not happy that they didn't mention that in the patch notes :/
No scanner beacon and nerfed Saw for Bastion, Ops can't use hawkeyes anymore, that's me out till next patch, was fun whilst it lasted.

The other weapons have been buffed besides... Operators did need nerfs considering just how good they were.

Yes, but they've completely destroyed the whole fun in playing Bastion, bunkering down, dropping a beacon and spraying into the horde whilst praying you get them all before you need to reload.

As for nerfing Operataors, that would be fine, if people played their roles and you could rely on hunters to take out high priority targets whilst you helped with the horde, but in over 120hours worth of playing (mostly on hard), the average hunter sits on a random high tower doing sweet FA until a rocket launcher mission pops up.

Yeah I read that in patch notes. Now that I tested it, bullet damage nerf isn't that huge on its own. Now it takes about 40-50 bullets to kill a warrior instead of 30-40 but with ammo increase you indeed deal more damage overall.
Biggest nerf here is removal of scan beacon as utility option, lack of it seriously nerfs Bastion's potential damage output. I don't really hate the update though. In fact I consider it rather fair. I suppose from now Bastion is made more fitting of his tanky identity. With ammo increase I can actually consider other perks besides ones which increase ammo.

The issue isn't how much damage you deal before you need to reload, the issue is how quickly you can take enemies out. You're pretty much guaranteed to get swarmed, surrounded and killed now and those extra spare bullets in your clip when you go down aren't much consolation.

Yep, you kinda need to live long enough for buffs to make a difference :UncleDeath:
