FPS improvement Suggestions

I lost fps after the update. I don't have the screen tear but there's definitely an overall drop.
Any of you graphics boffs know which settings most improve fps for the leas quality drop??

Started the Game and changed the Video Settings to low. Still FPS Problems and crash after 5 Minutes. Refunded. maybe when its released i try it again

I don't know what it is but some smoke effect seems tank fps very badly. I tried the DX11 mode to see if it was any better and the freezes are almost completely gone.

You can add -dx11 to launch options in Steam to access it.

this game is just poorly optimised atm need optimisation badly
im using a i7-10700k and rtx 3070 +32gb ram

i tried running the game at 480p 720p 1080p 1440p with high and low graphics settings and it made no difference most of the time my vram was sitting at 7.2gb usage while the gpu is only at 30-40% usage while the cpu is at a mere 10% usage when the dips happen which clearly indicates the game needs optimising

XeSS and particle effects are cpu heavy. Run the game on high settings and turn of XeSS. Set effects and post process to low/med if that didn't help. Adjust render scale to replace XeSS as needed.

TBH this game is so cpu bottlenecked a locked 60 FPS is not possible without an overclocked 13000k series CPU. Even my 5800x3d dips below 60fps on evac with all the setting set to max potato.

Its EA which mean unoptimised.
