Could we please have a minimap?

It really bothers me the way the map works. It's an overlay over everything and while it's open I can't properly move. Because this is a somewhat strategic game if you contribute to collecting things it's really important to know where you are relative to the objectives and your teammates.
Why can't we just have the option to display a minimap that allows me to see where I am while I'm playing?

Back in my day we didn't have mínimaps or map screens that showed your location. We had to print off a map someone else made in MS Paint and tape it to the wall beside the CRT monitor and try to guess where we were based on landmarks.

A "armlet" map would be nice. Instead of the giant map that you get, instead, you look at a hologram version from your wrist/arm so it's a lot more convenient and immersive.

See I play this game with someone. We team up and then join a game together. With the way it currently is, it is really hard to find him again once chaos beaks out without opening the map and opening the map while you are in the middle of an onslaught on veteran is.. well.. not recommended that much.

Map is okay, expect when I have it open when the shuttle lifts off, then you can't close it.

If i want to see something, i just TAB open my map and got all my informations.
Never really needed a minimap, because it´s very easy to find/see something.
