Any idea on when the Local Reforms tooltip will show the, now updated, value of the effect?

Any idea when the Art Monument will apply a proper 1.2x regional efficiency bonus to Culture rather than a 0.2x modifier which actually cuts culture production into 5ths?

Since you updated the other Improvement production chains, will Stone Cutter ever receive an upgrade, even just letting you cut 2 Stone instead of 1? I will sell you my firstborn for this.

And just for clarification, Regional Efficiency has never been intended to affect goods consumed?

Great news! Really hoping for this update, especially to the possibility of fine-tuning the barbarian level. Hope the AI aggressiveness could also be adjusted.

D-did you optimize the game in this beta? Jesus christ the scroll lag ... it's minimal!

They said they made some optimizations related to that yes.

This news should be pinned in the store page not the forum.

Is it compatible with saved games?

I wouldn't think so since there are quite some changes.

Balance changes will not appear in a save game, but the rest will! So to answer your question, it is almost completely compatible.

We decided to only put it here, PDX forums and on the Discord as the update is not yet fully released and only available in a Beta branch.

They are performance improvements in the Beta, yes.

We are adding more Barbarian settings in a future update!

I will ask the dev team about this and get back to you!

I read patchnote for beta Update 1 - there's no option to increase Font size in Settings.
Watch Civilization 6, Humankind, Old World they all have normal Font size and UI scale.
Only Millennia has so small Font size, especially in Tooltips.

Awesome news!

Is there a chance to make it so you can undo something like regroup when you intended to click the heal or discover landmark?
Arvid Apr 16, 2024 @ 10:16am
Don't get me wrong, a new option is always good.
Personally, I have no problems with the barbarians!
I would rather you change the completely useless diplomacy.
In general, you shouldn't chase after players who still don't want to understand that Millenia is not a CIV successor!

This is something we may be able to add in the future, but it is lower on the priority list compared to our quality of life features.

I have now checked with the devs on this, it is not intended to affect goods consumed. I have asked the devs to make a forum post about their design philosophy here which should aid to explain the system, when that is out Il post it here!

Ehhh... I'm going to suggest to not have Raiders have heal regen on all pre-gunpowder units. I own a third of the map ( as in explored and taken out all the vassals in ) on huge 8 player at turn 60. I'm considering just going to war and obliterating everyone because in every combat my units either die or end with most of their life left. Maybe leave it at all age 2 and 3 units, or have a reduced effect for all non raiders.

Oath of Fealty (increase all vassal population by 1) does not work on vassal underwater cites in age of utopia.
