So spoiler warning for the 99.9% of people who didn't get this achievement yet.
So were you able to trigger the Age of Heresy easily? Because that was the biggest struggle. The moment I finally got it, my huge sprawling empire spawend so many cultists that it immediately trigger the Age of the Old Ones. Not that I minded, but still it felt a bit buggy.
Being the one who triggered that age, I enjoyed this alternative Ending, especially the first 3 or 4 turns where I had to consolidate all the Cultist Forces on the other continent and marshal an assault on the weak enemy armies while avoiding the big ones. The problem was that after 5 turns I had 300 Armies to control and the stabilty and frame became the nightmare and between turns the abyss stared back at me...
I barely managed to win, not because of the difficulty, but because of the difficulty to play out the turns. How were your experiences?
