city destroy ?

is it not possible to abandon cities or destroy other cities in the game?

the ki settles so badly and so densely that you can't develop the cities properly, so i would like to delete/abandon/destroy some cities.

if that is possible, how do i do that ?

(i don't mean the neutral cities, but the ones built by civilizations)

Not at the moment, this is coming in the next patch.

It is possible in the current public beta for Update 1 with some exceptions, eg religious birthplaces cannot be destroyed.

See settings of Millennia in your steam library to activate the beta.

You can absorb outposts, but I would also like to be able to absorb vassal cities/regions into my capital region.

That would be good. It happens in real life. A city starts getting really big and then starts to annex surrounding towns.
