I have a i7-7700K, a 1080TI and 32GB.. Even if my PC is not the best, it should not have problems running this game at all. We're not talking about a next gen AAA here...
I've tried to play on 1080p, reducing graphism, restarting the game often, etc... That helps a little bit but not bit a lot.
The problem also appears in CIV6, because at one point, the math behind all the buildings, the units, the buffs, stats, and all the things the game needs to calculate becomes really complicated, but it only appears very late game, like near the end of it.
It doesn't seem to be the same problem here, where it start midgame, and even between turns, where there is no math, the game is lagging.
I hope they fix this soon, it should be their top priority! It renders the late games, which seem the best ones to play, really painfull.
