Warrior spawn Spartans 25 xp - no show?

I picked the warrior spirit and got the one Spartan unit it mentioned. When I got 25 mil exp and choose 2 spartan units which were suppose to show up in my home territory... got NOTHING? Anybody know why? I have 5 armies, maybe a limit? Game should maybe not allow you to waste the 25 xp? Or maybe this is a bug?

It unlocks a culture power that spawns them, does not directly spawn them. I thought the same until I read the tooltip again XD

Are you talking about top choice in the first column, it should be an option when your culture bar gets full, not an immediate thing.

ok, that might be it. I selected it from the Warrior Spirit tree

ok something is still very WRONG it seems. I now have 32 XP and have previously selected 'Warrior Elite'. I WOULD expect that I could choose 'Spawn Spartans' on my Warfare button but I ONLY have the choice to pick 'Volunteers'. So WTF? How do I get my 2 Spartan units?

Once again, a bug or what am I missing?

Try your other domains. I had one end up in a place I didn't expect (wasn't Spartans though).

ok, nm. I found this option as a cultural thing. So just not where I thought it was.

The byzantine systems are going to frustrate a lot of players (including me).

If I'm frank, that is part of the attraction for me, but will be a problem for many based on industry reviewers and the forum posts. I hope there are enough of "us" to give the game a healthy if niche audience.

But yeah, fully agree. I find I really LIKE how they handled Domains and culture powers and such, I'm just also finding that it's a little tricky to retrain my brain to look for things in those places.

Yeah, one has to read (just a fact, not intented as being rude) what is written on the Ideal card under the name of the power, like "Warfare Cultural Power" or "Warfare Domain Power" to know where to find what they've just unlocked. And the fact that unlike other Ideals, those don't have their own description doesn't help, I think.

So to put it all together on spawning 2 Spartan units. After spending experience for that option in the Warriors tree. You will see them not in the warriors option but instead when you spend culture. Instead of Eureka or other culture options there will be an option to spawn Spartans. (if i am recalling correctly you also used to get 2 free when you selected it in the Warriors tree but do not now which is perhaps better for play balance.)
