There is a new 5 hour full playthrough video on youtube.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tw1bKup8P8
It explains all the mechanics and shows gameplay from all the ages ...
I have not heard about a single player campaign. Gameplay footage so far is similar to Civ with random maps.
Try this one. It's only an hour long.
It's a good overview of the early to mid game until Renaissance/Age of Discovery. It covers the first 138 turns (1340 AD) while the 5 hour video above also covers some end game content and ends at turn 313 (1872 AD).
Thank you :-)
One YouTuber I discovered due to looking for Millennia playthrough videos is "Praetorian HiJynx". I have grown to really enjoy his videos and style.
He has made a 2 hour and 24 minutes "Beginner Guide" video. I have not watched through it yet myself. I've been busy watching just gameplay videos by various YouTubers. I can imagine this video to be very indepth and well explained (hius playthroughs have been so far). No idea if it assumes a viewer has some basic knowledge of general gameplay of turn based 4X games? You could give it a try if want to.

If not, maybe "JumboPixels" "Begginner's Guide" video from a month ago is more to your liking and style.

There are probably more out there. New Millennia videos seem to pop up out of nowhere all over the place (youtube) now. Some are not pure guides, but more explaining as they play (like others have suggested above). A lot of time to spend watching to get guiding info, but that is usually a good way, since then you follow the gameplay and see what they do and why. Especially if you are totally new not just to Millennia, but to the entire genre.
Thank you, I appreciate all the links and helpful tips.
