Shattering three diamonds in a round

Can someone clear up what is meant by this ?
I already got three IIII blocks in a single run but this didn't seem to be what is asked.
Also how is a round defined ? A single shot or a whole run ?
Are Diamonds the upgrade materials in general or just the highest tier of them ?

Edit: I just saw that the upgrade materials are called crystals so I don't think I have even seen a diamond yet

Edit 2: For anyone that cares I found out how to do it. Your bag of crystals for the run needs to be full so instead of picking them up you shatter them. Also you have to shatter three of them in one shot. It doesn't matter what tier they are

I reverted some upgrades and went into the first level. Also you can break the block without destroying the crystal to set up an easier shot where you get all three

Super hard achievement to get. Lots of luck involved. For anyone looking for strats: I reverted hold size and reduced my starting balls to around 6. Having the shots bounce around is terrible but sometimes unavoidable. Reposition over a diamond block before mining it. Try to shoot straight down to avoid unintended ricochets. Once three are on the board try to get as much ricocheting as possible and hope for the best.
