I just reinstalled the game, seeing there were updates, but my previous save cannot be found... Could you please let me know if the file location changed due to recent updates?

I'm sorry for your trouble,
Nothing has been changed in the save/load logic in the game via this update but some players are reporting the same issue but have no clue at all.
Would you check your save files are still in your Steam cloud storage in the below link?

Same for me its not on Steam cloud at all not even a local copy can be found.

Same here and nothing on Steam Cloud. I played most of the game in a laptop and I had the game uninstalled there. Could the local save file still be somewhere?

EDIT: OK, managed to retrieve my save file from my notebook and move it to my PC. It seems to work fine. In case someone want to check, save files are in:
%USERPROFILE% \AppData\LocalLow\Studio Ginkgo\ISEKAI QUEST\*.sav
