How to fix it quickly?
Before you run Fluid Engine, please open your Windows Task Manager (Alt+Ctr+Del - Task Manager) and try to find Inputapp.exe. If you find it, close this process (click it and then End Task). Then run Fluid Engine....will work as wallpaper will run a new Inputapp.exe.
I will try to fix it but it will be hard as this problem appears only for some users. So far we did tests on around 20 PC's and it works fine. When you close Fluid Engine, the Inputapp.exe is closed as well.
Sorry about this problem. I will try to fix it ASAP.

Kill Inputapp.exe processes and then run Fluid Engine once again.
Sorry I will try to fix it. The problem is that this project works correctly for 99% of users :(

I will try to fix this part as well,
the new update will be very soon - also with a new feature Color Picker so you will be able to select your own Fluid colour ;D
Thanks for your help and support
3DM
Please update or reinstall Fluid Engine.
Please, let me know how it works.

"Kaspersky AV or Internet Security
Kaspersky AV may prevent the in-game overlay from functioning in some or all games. This may occur silently, or Kaspersky may warn you that Steam is acting as an Invader application trying to load itself in another process." - Steam
There is nothing that we (3DM) can do :/ We passed all of the Steam checks and even our wallpapers do not connect with the internet - it's just Unity3D project.
Hopefully, one day they will find some solution for this bug :/

Steam is too big to let in people with "fake" games/apps. They will lose too much on reputation when other online game shops are just behind the corner. I've never had anything bad from them.
Peace

. Very nice looking, but now all controls have disappeared and the only function I have access to is mouse clicks that indirectly change the screen, like sound makes a light box do when playing a stereo thru the light box.
I let it stay open for approx. 1 hour.
Then I go to close it and it will not close until I open Task Manager and force it closed.
I restart my machine, go to the Task Mngr., force the input app. closed, go back to the Library page and click to open Fluid Engine.
It opens without access to the menu and I cannot adjust the actions of the app,
No access to color, speed, shape, etc. and the only reaction I can impose on the screen is by mouse click, and that seems indirect at best but does vaguely react in proportion to my clicking.
I let it play for about another half-hour, and then attempt to shut it down again but the app will not close, forcing me to again force it closed with the Task Mangr.
I am done fussing with it for tonight, I am going to go drive in R3E and will leave this app alone for the time being.
Is this thing going to eventually act right?
I spent good money on this thing and I really want it to work like it was built to.
It looks very cool even without being able to change settings at all, but when all the controls are accessible it should be incredible.
My only visual criticism is the grainy look to the whole picture when there is a lot of dark on the screen, it has the look of a vinyl overlay with a translucent dot pattern on it. When the screen is very lit up, the screen shows no such dot pattern at all.
My system is a Gen 1 Ryzen 5-1600 6 core processor @3.2 Ghz w/ 16 G memory on a Gigabyte GA-AX370 Gaming MoBo, running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit version 1909 O.S.build 18363.778 My storage is 4.5TB on HDD(4) & SSD(2) just in case that will help
It looks like your menu has been moved outside the screen :/ maybe by accident?
To restore the menu you can use Taskbar icon (next to your clock, wifi, speaker) where you can find Fluid icon. Right-click on this icon and select MOVE MENU and then place the menu where you want.
The grain appears only with specific light settings. If you turn on the Emboss, the grain will disappear. Sorry, this Fluid is very complicated and for now, we cannot remove this grain for all of the settings. :/
Please check my solutions and let me know if it works.
Thank you for info.
Peace,

Reading Steam:
"The Steam application or Steam game has been mistakenly identified as a virus or "trojan" by certain software as a result of the development of potentially-malicious programs which use the same filenames as valid Steam files (this is a very common practice amongst malicious software writers - many viruses already masquerade as valid operating system files).
We are working with the antivirus and firewall software vendors to ensure fewer false positives involving Steam appear in the future." Steam
There is not much what we can do.
