updated - can we have an option to hide "most recent save" banner? im a local only player so it is only used once a week if im not home, and the UI fits much nicer without. also stops the few second delay where the UI will change size once it sync to cloud

What "most recent save" banner? I don't see it. I installed the update, loaded my save, closed the game and finally reloaded trying to find what you are talking about but couldn't see this banner.

Maybe it only shows for cloud saving? Do you have more than 1 save slot used?


Anyway about this update, all seems to be working as intented. The patch only updated 3 files on my computer (the .js for the discord-rpc library as dependency, the json package to declare the same and ofc index.html)

But discord-rpc library was already on the installation folder with, at least, the previous patch from...November(?) i think. I suppose it was there but not loaded? Is this active on memory even if we don't use Discord at all nor have it even installed?

Another thing that Patch notes don't tell is that we need to agree (again) with an updated Jagex TOS that, if i'm correct, this time states some Melvor Idle specific questions as game not having any subscriptions (ever) and being allowed to create Mods for it.

Edit: oh, sorry, and great job with all the fixes! I'm still getting, each time i load the game, a large column on the right with all the special skills, pets, etc (For example, i'm doing combat right now and it shows there Art of Control, Master of Nature, etc that i still didn't buy plus pets i also don't have) I suppose that's a bug? It's happening since i bought the game, though->it would be nice to be able see the real active skills and pets for each skill, btw, as well as all complete info on all the bonus applied.

If you don't use Discord, it won't use extra resources. The game will know.

The one you see was the new amended one from late last year that talks about Melvor specific stuff, rather than just being a blanket EULA for Jagex which did not suit Melvor at all.

Thank you very much for your answer, i didn't know the EULA was already changed in that past November patch as it only asked me to agree for it now. But yes, i read all the stuff and see the specific Melvor points about subscriptions (yay, never ever in this game!) and allowing for Mods (great! because there were already mods so it was needed to be written somewhere)

I can't start the game after update. I get the "Manifest is not valid JSON. Line:1, column:1, Unexpected token." error.

Nice work! I've also noticed a similar bug as Runecrafting not updating material cost dynamically is (still) present in Summoning when crafting tablets.
