[TOWNSHIP] How do you get wood if you have none?

Just starting the township and I've built a farm and some shelter but now I'm out of wood. It looks like I just need to build the woodcutters camp however this requires 300 wood. A resource that I have already run out of.

Can I transfer resources from my character to the town?

You go into Settings and restart the town and be more careful. Tip: don't spend all stone either until you build a mine. Had to restart my town as well.

this seems like its in an EXTREMELY early test build, for a paid expansion in two days it's not a good sign

Why? In this thread there is nothing showing that something is wrong. It just teaches you that you can reset your town easily if you make any mistake. Most likely it was even intentional, they limit the amount of resources you have and you get stuck early so you can find how you can reset the town.

That's because you necro'd an old thread where the discussion is no longer relevant. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess your storage is probably full of useless junk. Just go to the storage management and yeet some of the other resources and you should start getting wood again. If this is not your problem then you should really start a new topic :D

my problem is that I graded up too much houses and not the lumbercamp... So zero progress... I need a reset of my town.

The township has been completely overhauled and this thread isn't really relevant any more. During the time of this thread if you messed up your town you could reset it and start over. Of course you'd get nothing back for what you had already invested in it.
