Fastest method to farm bones?

I wanted to upgrade to a new agility course but it requires 1000 bones. I had previously just buried them as I went so I don't have extra. What is the fastest method to farm bones?

The easy skeletons in the graveyard seem like a pretty slow method and since bones seem to be a common drop on enemy types I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a more prosperous target for bone drops?

*edit* I should have mentioned that I'm only 55 combat level so don't have access to higher level stuff.

It should be the Bone Offering Alt. Magic at one bone per second.
Worst case scenario you'll need to level up your runecrafting to craft Nature Run but even that way that should be much faster than combat.

Hmm..I haven't touched any runecrafting or alt magic yet.

Except a total of three to four hours then.
You other best option is, I imagine, the Chicken as it has decent a chance to be one-shotted.

Is it better to do a dungeon or a combat area? Or does it matter?

No bone in dungeon sadly.

Yeah I just figured that out. So a skeleton doesn't drop more bones than a chicken. Seems odd. :(

I wouldn't rule out Alt Magic. It is only level 18 so you can likely get there in the same or less time than simply farming the bones and then you will also have the skill-ups (which you will be doing eventually anyway).

Well to do alt magic it seems I need runecrafting and to do runecrafting it seems I need to kill things for runes so it doesn't seem I can avoid combat in either case.

Nope, no killing for runes. You can spend about 20-30m mining blanks and then go right into crafting. You only need Mining, Runecrafting and Alt Magic; the only part that will take more than a few minutes to reach is the Nature Rune. Even then you will get to it fairly quickly.

well giants do give "large bones" which are worth three regular bones. I havent killed a dragon yet but the loot table says they give even bigger ones (tho it doesnt say the value)

I think he needs them for a crafting material so he has to use normal bones. Otherwise I would have told him to just go fishing for Bone Fish :D

I actually misunderstood this requirement at first and did fish skeleton fish at first before realizing that wouldn't work. Doh.

Click the image of the bar/flame and that will allow you to choose what type of bar you are using. Then it should work.

Right now you are basically saying make ores into bars without saying what bars you want.

Fastest way atm is gitching the sandstorm ring with certain familiars, will not tell how to do it here, might tell sometime later on discord as I want to see if anyone else found this glitch. Basically with this weird gitch happening, your character keeps attacking with the effect of sandstorm ring as if 10 times each 0.1 second, regardless if there's an enemy on screen or not. Did not test exactly how many attacks per sec is there, but basically it is busted rn. It allowed me to beat all god dungeons and after those the mist with only dragon gear, and the funny thing is you do not even need a weapon equipped to beat those with the glitch. Someone please let me know if this is against TOS. If it is against TOS, I will not share it anywhere. As it is pretty hard to achieve without luck anyways, I doubt it will be found out soon. If devs are interested in fixing this gitch/bug, I can let them know via pm on discord, when I have time.
