Where do you find your pets?

Title.
I've seen the achievement for pets pop up randomly one day and didnt get exactly why. Now i've seen i've unlocked and iguana (i think) from farming which gives me a harvest bonus. I was wondering where i can see all the pets i have.

you can find the pet tab in the completion log. which is located on the left scroll down just after all the non-combat skills.

If you are on the Desktop version you scroll down on the left side till you find your Completion Log, then you click that and select 'Pets' from the menu. It will show what you have and what they do. If you over over the blank spaces it says where to find the ones you don't have.

You get by just doing whatever they require - if you want the Smithing pet, then just do a lot of smithing. There really isn't a trick to it that I'm aware of, you just get it eventually based on RNG.
