Best way to train slayer?

I'm at slayer level 53 and trying to get to 60 so I can go to the highlands. Should I do easy slayer tasks or normal slayer tasks? I'm just wondering which one will give me the most XP per hour.

Fastest slayer would be enemies with low defence and a lot of health, so you don't have to wait for their respawn. And slayer points and xp is granted based on the enemies health (as far as I know)

So, easy slayer on giant crabs is the fastest, from what I can tell. Just keep asking for new slayer tasks until it gives you a giant crabs task. But maybe others know better than me.

If you want to AFK level slayer, I think fighting in slayer areas may be better for automating this, since killing enemies in slayer areas, even off task, will grant you slayer xp, but I am not certain if this is efficient or not.

i dunno if it is fast but i am fighting mummies / garagoyles.
i am recycling slayer task to get one of those two, prolong and when finished recycle again (recycling those is free).

normal slayer areas gives you 5% exp
slayer task gives you 10% exp
slayer task in slayer areas gives you 15% exp

so in the end it is not a bad deal :)
