Ancient Sword - Opened Pirate Booty 2371 times and still haven't gotten it. No idea why it's not dropping is there a bug or something, I only have a handful of items left on my 100% base game item completion and this one is really annoying me, why is it so difficult to obtain?

Legit Method with RNG

1/641 chance to get the sword, just because you open 641 chests, doesn't mean you will obtain it, every time you open a chest even if you open multiples even as much as 641, each chest is rolled for the same odds to roll the sword, or any item in any other chest, just because you may open 641 chests, doesn't guarantee you the sword, as that's just not how odds work

Cheesy Method

Toggle off Auto Save to Cloud in the settings, save before opening your chests, how ever many you have, then open your chests, if you don't get your sword, go back to character selection, load your latest cloud save for the character, then your chests should still be there, repeat until satisfied
