Having a brainrot moment
I've still got half of the digging sites to be discovered, but my map is fully explored (just not everything to rank 5, most of it is full rank 2)
From what I'm reading on the wiki, I have to find relics to unlock more digging sites. So I've been digging the sites that have the blue tick on them (the ones that say its needed to unlock other sites)
Do I have then have to survey to rank 5 to unlock those? Genuine brainrot moment here

Nope, you can get all Dig Sites and Points of Interest after the first exploration. Just a matter of finding the Artifacts in Archeology. As soon as you get a Route chart/Map etc., the green exclamation mark will appear on the carthocraphy map. That's the way I did it, 1-2 weeks ago.

Except the final digsite, Melantis. You'll need level 70 Magic, certain mage items and to follow the clues (aka, look at the wiki).
