Quick Question about Scrolls of XP

Maybe I am too new but could someone explain to me how the "X Scroll of XP" are used. For example in the township trade post they have a fishing scroll of xp which gives +3% xp. There are several kinds of them but I don't understand how you use them? Any help would be appreciated.

if you click once on it in your bank, on the right side there should be now the description of the item, if you click "equip consumable" you'll equip these scrolls.
should be the upper right slot which looks like a bag in your inventory (when you click "attack" on the left side with all the skills you see your inventory).

Also you can just double click these scrolls in the bank and you equip them faster that way.

Follow up question on this topic, what do they do? Give a 3% bonus for 1 action and then get consumed? At first read i thought you would use it and it would give you 3% of your current skill xp but that seems ridiculously OP.

Every time you perform an action a scroll gets consumed. So, for example, if you have 500 scrolls you will get +3% XP for 500 actions.
