miss click language, unable to change

just bought the game, re-sized the windowed resolution to full-screen and somehow it registered a click into the Chinese language.
i am unable to understand a single letter or change the language.
stuck on the first screen. probably have to create a account in Chinese.

any idea how to hard-reset the game so i can choose a language? uninstalling didn't help, deleting local files didn't help.

i have never lost a game this fast.

the select language thing is on the frontpage (where you load the save if you start)

its one of the blue text thing above the white melvor idle 2023 at the bottom left

once you found that the top selection is english

found the same answer on a different post.
unfortunately i did not get to see this 'load save' page, i got stuck on the 'create account'.
