However, there are also some binary files in that folder, and I'm unable to tell at a glance whether they have anything to do with the mods.
Additionally, mod URLs are also present in some binary files in
Apparently, there is no "mod location" as such, only the on-disk representation of Electron's IndexedDB, and I'm not an expert on Electron so I can't say what would happen if you manually delete random files from the indexeddb folder.
Also note that which mods you have enabled is, AFAIK, stored on the server, so disabling them locally may have no effect whatsoever.
Thanks piccolo, this kinda confirms my findings. I've not been able to launch Melvor locally from one day to the next, and haven't been ever since, because I'm unable to manipulate the installation into not having mods enabled etc. I might have to delete the entire appdata folder and reinstall, not something I'm looking forward to, but atm I can only connect via browsers. :(
