Someone asked what mods everyone uses, trying to see the best options but i can't find that thread now. So making this to share my favorite since I had already typed this out:

Honestly the only one is use is "Gotta Go Fast". All it does is increase the speed, anywhere from 0.25 to 100x.

I only recommend any speed above x5 speed for leveling skills. during combat it is way too easy to die that way.i'd also be cautious when doing the thieving skill for the same reason).

Important; "Gotta Go Fast" mod only works when the game is open. The moment you close it it will drop to base game speed.

I have had some success in combat with x100 for raising defense,strength, and melee attack on creatures my stats mean can't really do me any harm anyway.

For example: Equip an Amulet of Looting (spider dungeon reward) and make sure you have bank space for anything your monster of choice can drop, and let it run for the night open. when you come back in the morning, hit the force save button right away then see how it looks. In an 7-8 hour time frame if you have it on x100 speed on say a combat level 7 skeleton when you have 20 defense, you should have about 100-103 skill level in whatever you left it on (melee, strength, or defense). I don't recommend trying for this on ranged or magic, simply because you will burn through those items too fast to cover the full time frame.

Again, this won't help for the major dungeons or the like, but getting quick access to those is really nice! Give it a try on anew character slot if you like. if you don't like it, you can always get rid of it and delete that character without messing up anything on your primary.
