So is the point of the Goblin raid to just see how long until I just give up?

My first attempt on normal, and I don't think I ever faced even a possible threat, I only ever choose 2 foods first one was 20 items that gave 400 hp then 400 items that gave 400 hp and I still got 345 left

I was doing pretty good before getting the DLC had a god sword and typically had no issues, then got the DLC and now im at wave 93 and have an Etheral Greataxe and at that point I thought there was no chance of losing, then picked up a superior cape of completion and found it has life steal.

So at this point, I kill most things in one shot, most thing have a 10% chance of hitting me and then deal like 100 damage, and then I just heal it back instantly, it seems the only real concern of the goblin at this point is staying conscious long enough to say no to an item after every wave.

The thing is I dont really feel like its that hard to get to this level? Even before I got anything truely broken it seems they give you so much food you would be really hard pressed to have any challenge

Benefit of Golbin Raid

It counts for the total kill count for Golbins for the Golden Golbin Pet which is only awarded when killing 42,069 Golbin's, but really, do you really want to kill them in the main game, it'd be a huge waste of time

Bonus Reason to Play Golbin Raid

Maybe you're going to idle, or maybe plan to go offline, when playing within the Golbin Raid, your game idles like being offline, as long as you're in the Golbin Raid, it's clocking up idle time, so there's no reason not to play the Golbin Raid, it's basically a unique Minigame you can play while you idle, it's mostly active but can become idle(ish) when you get enough good items, you can even pause the Golbin Raid and come back to it later at any time

Yes, having the DLC while doing the Golbin Raid, you'll get to see basically all the items you have at your disposal as soon as you beat the required wave to get all the OP items you can only get late main game

End Result of the Golbin Raid

After you get the Golden Golbin Pet, there's no real reason to play within the Golbin Raid, no idea if they're going to implement anything else within it to add as a bonus to the main game in some way, but as far as I know, the only thing it's used for is the Golden Golbin Pet

One Run Golden Golbin Pet Waves/Kills

I had ended up testing this myself personally and within 1 run of the Golbin Raid you will have to have defeated 574 Waves & partially into wave 575 killing 23 Golbins for 42,069 Golbin kills, it won't award you the pet in the main game until you kill 1 Golbin after reaching 42,069 from the Golbin Raid Minigame
