Offline Mods?
I live in rural Canada. Constant internet is expensive and next to impossible to sustain. This game was amazing for offline play. But now every time I'm forced to log out, I can't access any of the mods I'm trying to use.

The game honestly sucks without the mods. Like not even worth looking at it without them level of sucks.

Is this still an offline idle game? Or are mods limited only to those privileged enough to live in a city?

The game is perfectly fine vanilla, and playable on a local device without cloud saves if you're so inclined.

Thanks but the 24 hour limit is not perfectly fine. I don't want to feel like I have to jump on my computer daily to play an idle game that I can play the way I want while connected to the internet.

Good on you for being fine with that. But that's a ridiculous expectation.

theres literally a mod that removes the 24 hour limit. why didnt you look for a mod like that?

When my internet gets cut out when it's a cloudy day I can't access the mods. That's the entire issue

I live in da big city in da concrete jungle. Inet is as stable as it gets 24/7 pretty much. Yet I STILL like to be able to play 100% offline and use mods. So this feature is still important to me in a title like this. What if I want to move to the sticks (hint I super do) then I will be with my buddy that started this thread :)

Well, it doesn't look like you even own the game?

I don't know if it will work...

But if you already own the game, there's nothing morally wrong with finding an alternative version of the game and figuring out if you can load mods into it..

I understand that. Also this is a family account. I have yet to decide whether to purchase this one or so. I was just commenting because it seemed like another forum user was about to get more of the same kinds of useless answers from people instead of anything helpful. So I wanted to try and break up the harm such would cause with a little humour.

steam basic DRM allows for offline play. So there IS that to remember. IF you wish you can also set the whole thing up in a virtual box AFTER you have gone into OFFLINE play on steam and that would lock it into such a mode permanently if you wished for years/decades even if the client decided to try and bork that. So if you wish to learn how to use this feature it is on VIRTUAL BOX software like the super excellent free SANDBOXIE for windows.

The DRM in this game is nothing to do with Steam.

You don't own it though, so I wouldn't expect you to know anything about it. Have a nice day.

i blocked the ignorant child who is all hung up over mouse icons on accounts (and a good day to you also in an other than PASSIVE AGRESSIVE way). So they were hinting that there are MULTIPLE levels of DRM on this title, are their words at all accurate in any sense? I would take it that they are LYING or at the very least mistaken...usually comes with the mentality those types have. It is why I only co-operate with other sentient beings that have kindness as their base.

Also here is MY evidence that they are either lying or mistaken.

this thread states quite clearly there is STEAM DRM on the title...so tell me how in any way my statements were unhelpful to the thread/question? I would state that the one I blocked was being a knuckle dragger just spouting uselessness towards posts. I only block peeps that show themselves to be unkind, etc.

Fails to notice that my main contribution to the thread was to make sure you own the game then find a version that has had the DRM removed, and see if you can install mods like that.

Whatever it is that requires me to be online is also present on android, so forgive me for not knowing that there is also/steam exclusive(?) DRM present in the Steam version.

Anyway, "blocked" on Steam forums is about the most meaningless BS in the world. We both know you just clicked my comment to see what I said.
