Mark of the Pig not dropping?

I've cooked thousands and thousands of potatoes and shrimps while having the pig tablet equipped and not a single rune is dropping at all! What am I doing wrong?

On account to anything, make sure to check your marks and see if you aren't already maxed, secondly, make sure your current equip/setup has the pigs slotted in, of course, don't forget everything is chance based, you have a better chance at getting one if you are using the tablets, you're just unfortunately hitting the unlucky side if you don't already have all the marks, if you use mods, it may have caused and issue too, as mods are a risk and not official by any means

Note: Did you by chance disable the feature for marks to pop up in the settings & don't forget that the marks don't show up in your inventory, rather than it shows up in the summoning tab under 'Marks'

I could test otherwise for you as I have not gotten all of my pig marks yet and see if I can get any at all with the pig equipped, if you do not have all your marks for the pig

Shrimps gave me a summoning mark after the first 15-20 or so cooked with the tablet equipped, just the pig was equipped, no synergy combos at all, I also tested with potatoes afterwards, it also gave me a summoning mark

If anything else is worth noting, I tested my summoning marks on my Adventure Mode Character, which I also have a bunch of 120 levels in Astrology, 99 in Agility and various equip items with cooking bonuses which includes the 120 Cooking Superior Cape, but at least for me it works

End Note: I should also mention that Passive Cooking doesn't count towards anything, other than giving you the food from it, you won't get any experience, mastery experience or anything else from it, so if you're cooking basic soup, aka potatoes, it's going to take a lot longer, whereas cooking shrimp then just placing basic soup on the passive side, would net you a faster chance at summoning marks as shrimps take less time to cook than basic soup

in order for marks to drop you have to have created at least 1 tablet of the mark

so make 1 pig mark if you havent already and you should start seeing them drop

you also do not need marks of the pig equipped in order for them to drop, they will drop regardless as long as you create that initial mark

So I ended up using a mod to speed up time because I didn't want to wait hours or days to know if the thing I'm doing was right or wrong; over 1000 foods and tablets used before I got ANOTHER mark, maybe these things are based on the foods xp or something?

Like I stated in my post, I got the Shrimp and Potatoes Actively cooking and got them within 10-30 pieces of cooked food respectively, so maybe in this case, the mod is bugged or limits how it works, because it's not based on XP rather than skill action and the faster the action, the faster you can rack up chances

I've been working on the 100% completion and i remember some marks taking longer to obtain than others, though I was gaining those passively as I was working on the mastery for all of the skills

just make sure you craft 1 of every mark and you should gain them over time as you are working on your skills
