about a Synergy in Thieving...

so i have a question about the Leprechaun + Devil Synergy in Thieving. The way it reads should be pretty simple: i either get a lot of money, 4 items or nothing. i thought this was pretty OP because of the 4x items part. but then i noticed i only get 1 item instead of 4.

Can someone clarify this? am i misinterpreting the description?

Just had a thought: maybe when i receive an item, there is a 35% chance to receive 4 times that item... and that's how it works?

You still get Items from the +100% GP bonus roll and GP from the 4x Items bonus roll, the receive nothing only applies to the 15% chance roll
