Yeah I think that's what was happening, I appreciate that insight. This is obviously a very well crafted game but not what I was expecting/wanting right now to fill a very particular niche for me. No worries, I'm sure I'll have fun with it eventually when the time is right =)
As for tutorials in A LOT of idle games, they pretty much force you to do certain things in a certain order and lock you out of things until you complete certain steps.
It won't translate perfectly.
Things that generate infinite resource such as fishing, woodcutting, combat, agility, astrology, etc, are pure idle.
If you mean even 1 non-idle thing makes the entire game not a true idle, then that's a different issue that has nothing to do with the game. That's a pet peeve. That's not objective.
This game has offline progress, so there's no need to keep your computer running for it.
