No "crossplay" between Steam and mobile.

Figured it out after trying to import the Steam save to mobile (from free mobile version to paid Steam it worked wonders) and reading the FAQ thread.

So it seems you're required to own the game on both platforms. Wack.

I haven't checked the browser version yet but does it behave like a free version, too?

I didn't buy the mobile version, and I play play off my steam version account no issues.

There is crossplay, just save to cloud on PC, log into the melvor app on your phone with the same melvor account and load the game from cloud.
Personally the mobile version is not doing it for me, if I don't wait 10 seconds after every click the game crashes. The reviews for the app seem to tell me that I'm not the only one with that issue.

Got no issues, steam + dlc -> cloud save, mobile phone free app, same account, load cloud save, works wonders

How do you get the game free on the mobile app. I bought it here on Steam, and each time I open the Steam game, it tells me I can play on the app free (without paying for the game again). But when I open the app and log in, it wants me to pay for the game again. I logged into Melvoridle.com, but there's no place I can see to make the game work on the app, and that webpage even wants me to pay for the game again. What do I need to do? Thanks.

Make sure you switch to Cloud Save and NOT Local Save. Thats where your Steam saves will be. I've been playing on Steam, Browser and iOS for years with the same account, zero issue.

I have the same problem. I've heard from several posts you simply log into the cloud and you're good to go. Doesn't work for me, though I've tried many things. I bought the game here on Steam and enjoy it but can't get it to be free on my phone, though the Steam version, every time I start the game, says it's free on mobile. On my phone, I've deleted cache and storage and even uninstalled the app to start over from scratch. No good.

When I log in and try to load from the cloud, it says the save is corrupt, though I've tried saving on Steam and reloading on the app many times. The failure message says to "Force load" but that also does not work.

In the top left corner on the phone, the down arrow has a list of things, one of which is "Steam". When I click on that, it gives all kinds of error messages and then says to log into my Steam account and restart Steam. I've installed the Steam app on my phone and followed those instructions, to no avail.

Any suggestions anyone?
