Comparing Equipment Stats

I thought if you clicked "View Item Stats" on an item in your Bank, it would compare the stats to your currently-equipped item in the same slot. But I don't feel like that's working correctly.

Is this a bug or did I miss a setting or am I completely dreaming?

It does. It should even compare it to the selected equipment set on the selected item.
What items are you comparing for example?

I think I found the problem. I was clicking the Equipment Set button on the right (like when you're figuring out which set to equip the item) and the stats never changed. I wasn't actually changing my selected Equipment Set from the very top of the interface so the stat comparison never changed.

Not sure if that makes any sense, but it's a little misleading when I'm trying to figure out where to equip the item.
