Bane, Instrument of Fear

Hi all

i'm stuck on Bane, Instrument of Fear.

I'm full god gear
3 pieces of master slayer,
T90 weapon (shockwave/Ocean song)
Earth Layered Shield
Dragon + witch / centaur
Hunter's Ring
Maximum Skillcape
Deadeye Amulet / FEZ
diamond potion, tried differents setup of prayers.

No matter what, at some point I reach a really low chance to hit (13 to 20%), and I have to constantly heal to not be OS with the HP reduction debuff.

Usually, I can get him down to 30/50% but then I cannot make enough damage to kill him between the misses and his healing/regen.

I've tried the archer and mage version, same thing with both.

Current debuff, maybe I've been unlucky with the roll :
+100% chance to ignore Stuns and Freezes and Immune to Sleep
+20% Maximum Hit and -10% Maximum Hitpoints
+50% chance to apply poison when hitting with an attack and +10% Maximum Hitpoints
+15% Damage Reduction and +15% Global Evasion
+50% Chance to apply burn when attacking and +50% chance to apply frostburn when attacking

After like 30 attempts, i'm about to give up.
Any tips / help on this fight would be helpfull.

This helped me finished the final Bane in 3 tries. If this didn't work for you, then you must have the worst of luck

Yes I did. I went through the first four cycles without any trouble until this very last fight. I think I will try another full run from scratch and try to roll another set of debuff.

For me (as per wiki), the fastest way I brought Banes HP down was by facing Magic Bane so I was able to use Ancient Magic "Incinerate". Ranged Bane was a slow slog, and Melee Bane just frustratingly long and deadly. Hope you have better luck on your new runs...

I also tried the mage version with incenerate without success.
Now I just noticed I ended the run on Shrouded Badlands instead of Perilous Peak as adviced by the guide. Not sure if this can make a difference, or maybe I'm just bad.

Anyway, I was trying the same last fight playing with saves from 2 browsers to reload on death, I will try tonight with a new fresh run, hope for a better roll on debuffs and finish on the correct zone.
