Training summoning

Im aiming for 100% completion on hardcore, and im still new to the game, i did all the theorycrafting i could with the little knowledge i had but i still dont know how to aproach summoning, leveling it doesnt seem that hard, but the tablets are absurdly slow and expensive, am i missing something ?

Probably just leave it for later - Summoning was the last skill I maxed on my Hardcore save, but once you start leaning heavily into combat or thieving, money starts to flow in, so that the cost of tablets is no longer a factor. Then you can finally start crafting them and using them in parallel to combat and thieving to get to 99 eventually.

Summoning is easy. Pick a skill with a good synergy and do whatever. Fishing whales w/ pig & octopus tablets will get you to 99 fast.

Then buy the necromancer set (minus the hat -- crown is better) and you'll crank out tons of tablets fast.

Yeah the skill leveling is quite easy, im talking about the tablets, after making 5k tablets for fishing the mastery is like at 30 or so, and those are the first few levels and the cheapest tablets i could craft, how many tablets do i need to craft to level each one to 99 ? millions ?

Just like everything else. You will cook lots and lots of food, fire making takes forever, the combat stats grow real slow as they have to cover, magic, ranged and melee and dont forget the slayer points you need also.

I understand its a slow process, but for example, firemaking is at 99 and it took me like 3 days or so if i remember correctly, and most logs are at around 40 mastery including yew logs at 99 and magic logs at 90, I cant make the math around it but id say i can take it all to max in a week or so ?, with summoning it requires a lot of resources, and the crafting time of the tablets is really slow, i barely hit 20 with some tablets and i already crafted several thousands that for the time being costed me a lot of money and resources.

Im not complaining tho, im just wondering if im doing something wrong, maybe im missing an upgrade or an item that helps with tablets.

Im wondering the same about the tablets. I have made 1000's and 1000's and my mastery bar is at 0.85% while my level is 67.

I have made 934,000 Devil tablets, used 890,000. I have 97 mastery with the Devil familiar.
I have made and used 702,000 Leprechaun tablets and I am 92 mastery with it.

It takes a while.

Im 99 in many skills, so its just this one that seems to be scaled differently or its slightly off as a few others skills scaling has been shown to be off allot.

and yes it takes awhile granted but this skill is way longer than others.

There we go, then its just plain 10 times harder than anything else in the game, got it... no problem to, its just good to know its going to take a while.
