3 questions I couldn't find answers for

Hey folks, I'm a new player here. Around 60 active hours I think. Anyway, I have a few questions I couldn't find answers to in the wiki or online, I was hoping some kind soul could help me out or point me in the right direction. These are all UI related questions.

#1 -- In the bank there are 10 "tabs" along the top row. How many bank slots do I need to unlock to be able to use these? I have 50 open slots right now, not sure how many more I need.

#2 -- In cooking skill, there is a button to the right of 'active cook' called 'passive cook'. If you press passive cook, a message appears saying you need to have something actively cooking to use it. If you actively cook something and press the passive cook button, nothing happens. What is the intended behavior here? What is passive cook and how does it work?

#3 -- In farming, there are buttons along the top that say "apply compost to all plots, 2000 gold". Pressing these buttons does absolutely nothing, meaning you have to go to the store, buy the compost, return to farming and apply the compost manually. Am I misunderstanding the intended function of those buttons? What are they for?

1. Drag items to the slots. They're for sorting your items. You don't unlock them. They're all unlocked from the start.

2. If you are cooking in the Cooking Fire, you can passive cook in the furnace and/or pot. You can only active cook in one of the three and passive cook in the other two.

3. You need to have two or more allotments unlocked. Paying for this fills them all with compost.

Thank you for your reply! I understand point #2 and point #3 now, but I do not understand #1.

What is meant by 'sorting items'? There is already a button which does this (called 'sort'), so I am afraid I still do not understand what the tabs are for.

Oh, and I have 5 farming allotment unlocked btw, and the compost button still does nothing.

Thank you for your reply! I understand point #2 and point #3 now, but I do not understand #1.

The tabs let you do stuff like place all equipment into one tab, seeds in another tab, ore in another tab and so on. You need to have compost and gold coins, 2000 I think, available to use the button and it will fill all the allotments with what you have instead of clicking on each plot manually.

You need spare compost in your inventory (or the Farming Skillcape that allows you to apply compost out of thin air).
