Which Combat potion is the better option?

Diamond Luck Potion IV or Damage Reduction Potion IV

Damage reduction is only for times when you don't already have the DR for what you're killing.

If you farm dungeons in the right order, and after you've hit certain hp/gear breakpoints, then literally the only time you'll need damage reduction pots is for in to the mist.. and I think I had to use the DR prayer for the fire dungeon so I could fit in a signet ring for the chance at double drops.

Diamond luck potions give a pretty decent increase to your hits and more dps a long with it. Resulting in faster kills, more loot, more gold, and more xp. I've used them for all dungeons (when possible) for the increased kill speed and will be using them again when dungeon pets are released.
