Steam Deck Support?
Will this game be able to run on the steam deck?

We'd love to support it fully once it's out.

Awesome to hear, I'll definitely pick up this game at launch.

Can you send me a picture of your Deck :з

The game works on the Steam Deck, but it has very slow performance :( even with all in low details, it never stands 60fps.

But locking it to 30 fps, it runs very stable with medium details + SMAA + SSAO at native res (no volumetric lighting though). With a bit of tweaking you might get it to 40-45 fps at low settings, which is a bit smoother. It's very fun on the Deck, would recommend! I'm not sure why Valve flagged it as unsupported.

Oddly, I reinstalled it on my SDD instead of the MicroSD card and yeah, the game runs quite smoothly now (not impressive but quite playable)
And yep, it is a perfect match for the Deck !

The store page says it's unsupported, yet some users say it runs on the Steam Deck. I loved the demo and thought I'd pick this up when I get my Steam Deck but now I don't know what to make of this... can we have an official response regarding Steam Deck support?

https://steamdb.info/app/1266840/ This says it's unsupported.

Overkill's The Walking Dead is supported says SteamDB. What I mean to say is it seems to be community logged https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1ou70FhfPU

Unsupported does not mean that the game won't run. It means that the game did not pass a serie of automated tests I guess. But tweaking manually the graphics, and installing the game on the SSD (NO MICROSD) does the trick and you can enjoy the full game !
