saving system in this game ?

can i just exit game at any time or do i need to save my game or what happens if i just leave mid run outside of the end base

I'd like to know that, myself. Runs can be pretty long and I'd rather not be tied to the game for an hour or so.

thats good to know that makes playing long runs eesier knowing you can safely exist after you drive to next spot

It only saves on entering a new location. We did this so runs wouldn't be ruined by bad layouts etc, people being stuck out of bounds.

We'll be adding some better save indication and duration since last save type warnings in
future.

okay good to know i have some other question on different topic if you would not mind answering i understand if your busy ...but in my current save i have 1/2 gas in my car and i need 2/2 to progress but currently in the area i am in i simply cannot find any gas i have tried to look for gas 3 times on everywhere on that map but simply cannot find so i guess my question is if its possible to enter a new area and not find enough gasoline to progress or is it a bug that i cannot find gasoline (or maybe i just did not see it in the area but i tried to look everywhere ) anyway i really like the game it seems very nice

Fear not. So long as you have at least 1 fuel, you can drive to everywhere. If your current fuel is insufficient for next location (but have least 1 fuel), just drive away - the game will place you in a special area like somewhere in the middle, where you are guaranteed getting enough fuel for next location (and extra loot).

oh dang i have to try it to me the game just said in color red its not possible but i have to try what you suggested
