There are issues such as very few bugs (from my standpoint), unbalanced gameplay choices and some corrections to be made but the Devs are present in this forum and they seems to have taken most points. It remains to be seen how they'll be addressed in the next patch.
But overall, it's good, I don't regret the money, not a single second.
The game looks good, but not so good that it should have performance issues. My friend has top-of-the-line hardware (3080ti, ryzen threadripper, etc) and still gets lag spikes in rain and in heavy population areas. The game simply doesn't have good optimization yet.
The bugs are mostly quite minor, but there are a few game-breaking ones like being wedged in doorways and behind props when pushing physics props sometimes. You'll also be disappointed if you came from Union City expecting character building, all progression is permanent except for mutations, which are just okay.
It's pretty bad when in a zombie shooter you can shoot anything lower or higher than you.
Other bugs include map generation, you could have antizin outside the playable map or just no useable items for 2-3 maps.
Worth checking out after the first patch
I have 100% completed what there is currently to do. Well worth getting, really addictive.
There are of course some issues such as with some of the aiming with enemies on higher or lower ground, items can block your way (some can be moved easy and others cannot) and among other bugs. But it's not game breaking.
In terms of performance, had no issues on a 2080ti, Always above 60fps. Not sure what these comments are about bad performance.
Some things are very weird like carrying only 1 extra antivirus serum like if we didn't try to live as long as possible.
That's to make the game less boring and easy.
So you have to plan more carefully. Such as not sticking around on maps too long, looking at the map and choosing routes/locations carefully. Such as in my 40 hours of experience you'll most likely find RNG Anti-Viral spawns on certain maps over others. Sure it's all RNG and you can still find them at random but some maps I've never/only a few times seen an anti-viral spawn.
i have 1080tii and ryzer 7 and i dont have that kind of problems, but yeah, blame game..
(and for more totally anecdotal non-evidence. . . I'm on a Ryzen 5 3600 + RX570. Yes, I get 40-50 fps on busy screens, but I've not noticed any kind of lag spikes. Not maxed out, of course.)
Well it also makes the stealth in this game totally useless since it's all the time race with time, your main focus is getting antivirus serum and keep moving on ASAP.I Wish we had more time to explore each map and loot things but that's not really happening
