Dead Zone offline version?
I have a question for the developers.
Is it possible to get access to an offline version of Dead Zone, since it has been shut down, for what I know? I did enjoy the base building, scavenging gameplay of it, even without other people.

same. I have played all last stand games and dead zone was a really good game that I wanted.
I have tried to look for other games with similar crafting and strategy gameplay, none could match the ones of dead zone.
I would really like an offline version just like fallout shelter.

I'd love to see an offline version as well. To this day, Dead Zone was the most satisfying zombie experience I've ever played. Systematically looting a building with your team of survivors, having your fighters/gunners watch over your scavengers, and carefully managing your reloads all the while, it felt right. No other game has nailed that feeling of actual survival in a zombie apocalypse for me.

tl;dr: I'd happily buy an offline version of Dead Zone, and really hope they consider it.

Oh yeah that would be nice. Had so many hours in that game and could really see myself playing it again.

Offline would be nice, I never cared for the PvP anyway
Funny how people keep asking this question, but yea i'd totally be down for it as well. Assuming they balanced the game for a single player experience by taking out the PvP, online, and energy mechanics. I'd love to play it again or pay for it as a game in its own right.

There is no need for entire re-makes or re-building of the game.
Just need to put it from flash to steam, just like the stickman series got famous on steam.
The graphics were good enough, even to this day.
The main attraction for me was the crafting and scavenging system.
I would love it if the game was just like before but get rid of the fuel economy/currency, and the time limiters that would stop you from grinding.

Yea, I won't lie if they could ditch those two things i'd buy the game in a heart beat as a stand alone.

I'd pay $20 to play this game again. Maybe even $30.

This topic has been brought up quite often. I even signed a petition to get it back, but the devs have stated on numerous news letters that they have no interest in bringing Deadzone back.

Maybe it's just me but honestly dead zone was the WORST game in the series by far if you ask me (dont know aftermath, so absed on games 1-4).

1. it was some facebook exclusive stuff, at least in the beginning.
facbeook and mobile gaming already spell cancer.

2. you had to play this every game or you are screwed.

I can get behind the "go colleting stuff and repair and build thing sin the base" part.
sure, kind of a management game of sorts.
preparing and surviving a zombie horde attack, cool too.

but everything else?
I dont wanna wait DAYS for something to be finished constructing.

devs no doubt did this for the super amlarging the play time with zero extra work invested.
and also helps their pockets sinc, as in every bad idle game, you OF COURSE could waste REAL money on circumventing that wait time and get the thing done instantly.
nice cash cow for the devs.

that stuff is kind of bad but would be acceptable since other idle games ou there do it too and one can enjoy them from time to time.

but what totally broke this game for me:
3. you are basically ♥♥♥♥♥ if you ever leave the game.

like for example, i had stuff set up to be built, done enough raiding, whatever.

had a few days of this thing called REAL LIFE so few days of not returning to the game.
then came back and thought I would continue where I left...
well, base 20 times raided by some di ckhe ads ( funnily also even the same guy. jsut came back to raid me again each time after the few hour cooldown...)
everything destroyed.
stamina, food, all at like -1000.
so yeah, went exploring, scrapping together some food and stuff, repairing what is possible, etc.

well, 2 days later back to the game.
sure, my friend had been here again and trashed stuff.
oh and some nice zombie horde had destroyed stuff too! :-)

and of course, cause in bad games time continues even if you dont play, starvation and all back at max, people wounded, stuff destroyed, so bascially back to before and worse.

time WELL WASTED!

there was jsut no way to get back to even normal noob beginner camp level (that isnt a destroyed graveyard) without spending day and night.
Or real money, which might be the devs intention.

and so, I said ♥♥♥♥ it, first 2 games were good, union city was great due to the exploring parts and such.
better play those.

sicne dead zone showed me how trash and "candy crush trash game stealing your money if you wanna decently continue without selling your soul" it had gotten, i never kept in touch with the series.

will take a look at aftermath, whcih appartently is the fifth game in the series.

but jsut saying, dead zone for me was all the worst in this "modern mobile gaming facebook cancer game money steal rip off" era we live in taken, blended, puked all over.
and showed into people's face as Last Stand 4.

it was cancer if you ask me.

I would have loved it if it was single player and had some other problems fixed that almost cant be fixed without throwing in money.

but so, it was cancer.
pure cancer, hated it!
