Report a translation problem
You should be able to fix this by playing a main mission, which should only be in the locked out area. If you left the area and ran out of missions, you can replay one from Holopox Deck. I presume ending missions forces the "what weapons you should have at this point" data to be updated, but I don't know.
The best advice I can give is to avoiding travelling back to complete oddjobs or the geneblender completely, and focusing on progressing the story until it fixes itself.
Black Forest are working on a patch, which may take time to release a "damn good one", but this mitigates it for the timebeing.
